According to the Decision of Project Parties (Decision of Board of Directors at Nizhnekamsk Refinery of 22.05.06) BNP Paribas Bank is appointed as an International Consultant of Project by Mandate Letter. In pursuance of this Mandate Letter, BNP Paribas is providing consulting services covering the analysis and options for financing strategy of the Project to be further approved to ensure the Project financing.

BNP Paribas-one of the leading financing Banks at Russian market. Within 2004-2005 for Russian oil Companies they arranged the transactions for the amount of more than USD 4 bln.

BNP Paribas Bank provides not only consulting services in financing but also services in financing arrangement of the Project, leading to additional favorable conditions for attracting foreign investments.

Tatneft have a long-term experience of work with BNP Paribas which arrange project financing for the Company in the amount of USD 450mln.
