Joint Company Basell was founded in 2000 by merging of the interests of BASF and Shell. The Company is the world biggest manufacturer of polypropylene and polyolefin of the increased quality; the leader azof polyethylene and catalysts supply as well as development and licensing of Polypropylene and Polyethylene production processes. Basell products are sold in more than 120 countries. Basell GmnH has got 11 research and development departments, technical centers with the staff of more than 1000 specialists. Basell has realized 175 licensed process technologies. 23 production lines based on Basel process technologies will be started up in the next three years.
